At Massey High School we encourage all of our students to set high personal goals: academic goals, sporting goals, as well as cultural and artistic goals.
Our mission is to ensure that students leave school with a mature attitude and a well-rounded education, ready to take their place in society. To make that possible, we have introduced an array of support and development programmes, many of them breaking new ground in the New Zealand education sector.
These programmes are about providing effective support to facilitate the growth and learning of our community’s most precious asset – our children. They reflect the strong, independent, future focused desire of the staff of Massey High School to provide the best for the next generation.
However, the challenge for our school is that a number of these programmes do not receive Government funding.
To raise the money needed to maintain adequate staff levels and facilities so these programmes can continue, the Board of Trustees has launched:
The Massey High School Foundation for Excellence in Teaching and Learning
We are now seeking support from businesses and individuals and we welcome donations to support specific programmes or for general educational purposes.
Donations of $5 or more are receipted and eligible for a tax deduction.
